Traigh Beach

in the Scottish Highlands

Whilst on my roadtrip around Scotland driving around near Mallaig I found the amazing Traigh Beach. Situated on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands near the village of Arisaig, Traigh is a stunning and serene destination with surprising  pristine white sands and turquoise waters. Framed by dramatic coastal scenery and backed by rugged hills, the beach offers breathtaking views of the Small Isles of Eigg, Rum, and Muck. The area seems to be a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, with frequent sightings of seabirds, seals, and occasionally dolphins. Traigh Beach’s shallow waters and gentle waves make it ideal for families, while its peaceful atmosphere provides a perfect escape for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.
